Oh Please! Buttermilk from scratch...so quick and easy to make...the only thing that might be faster is French Toast! YUM

Hahaha. It's just milk, flour, eggs and vanilla sugar. It's ridiculous to buy it ready made.

I occasionally make them from scratch, but use boxed mixes the most...never used frozen ones.

I used to make them from scratch, but with the advent of microwavable ones, they're just too easy and turn our too perfectly NOT to buy frozen ones! They're delicious.

I usually make pancakes from scratch, but sometimes I use the mix in the bottle where you add water & shake, shake, shake!! +5

if you buy frozen, you're really missing out. homemade don't take too long and they're easy. :)

Scratch, but I double the recipe and freeze the leftovers in packs of two, for mornings when my kids want pancakes, but I just don't feel like making them.

Scratch, so I can control the salt & sugar. I'm told I first mixed my own batter when I was two - but I couldn't reach the stove, so the floor had to do.

My pancakes were internationally famous for a number of years. I made my pancakes from scratch with about 5 different flours and other ingredients. Generally topped with real Canadian maple syrup.

6-26-2017 I combine pancake mix with mashed potato flakes and onions. Then I take equal volumes of dry mix, eggs, and oil/water and cook it in a waffle iron. Or sometimes fry it in a pan. But I prefer the waffle form. I top it with peanut butter. Syrup is just too wimpy to suit me.
