  • I went out for a look, but we have a bit of cloud cover here. Couldn't really see much, the big dipper on one side and a planet on the other side. I expect the planet was Mars.
  • Sadly, no. There's an awful lot of light polution here in Boston anyway, so it is never a good place for celestial observation. But tonight a heavy fog rolled in off the bay.
  • Nah, I went to one last year and it was nothing but a naked attempt to make people shell out for gifts. I brought a card, said 'I hope you have a happy, healthy Perseid Meteor' and left.
  • Yes I will try. But Every year lately it is rainy or there is too much light pollution in my area.
  • Too much cloud coverage Tuesday night and it's not looking like a clear Wednesday night either.
  • Yes, if local weather permits it.
  • Nah.....I plan on sleeping....
  • Must have been really Wonderful to see! Have a Great day Lady!
  • I don't believe I will. I stopped looking at astronomical events a few years ago when I showed my brother the Age of Aquarius -"When Jupiter aligns with Mars...". I was in NJ, early 90's, we looked up and could see Jupiter, Mars, the Moon, and Venus almost perfectly aligned in a straight line. Told him to bring the kids out, he replied by saying they wouldn't be interested. Oh well....
  • I will try.Saw some a few years ago.It was pretty neat. That`s one good thing about being out in the country,in the dark! Just hope the moon and clouds don`t get in the way.:)
