(sigh) A - you should be more careful when quoting Scripture - B - You should also read the Bible. I mean: the whole thing. Your answer makes it clear either that you have not done so, or that you have failed to remember some passages relevant and contradictory to your commments.

Suddenly a woman at the back of the crowd fired off a stone at the adulteress. At which point Jesus looked over and said, "Mother! Sometimes you really tick me off!" :-/ s'true!!

  • The Kingdom of Heaven is in you
    • pugwashjw65
This is a false RC teaching...The Kingdom is the incoming NEW governmental system that will replace ALL world governments, and is one that is led by Jesus...Who has been appointed King over it by his father Jehovah God. We have to be aware of this...
    • pugwashjw65
Proof it is NOT just a feeling inside us...1 Corinthians 15:24 ...Next, the end, when he hands over the THE KINGDOM to his god and his Father, when he has brought to nothing ALL government and authority and power, 25. For he must rule as King until God [ Jehovah] has put all enemies under his feet...Obviously not just a feeling.

  • Most Bible scholars believe that the few New Testament phrases in Aramaic (rather than Greek) may have been the exact words that Jesus spoke: Mark 5:41: And taking the hand of the child, he said to her, "Talitha kum", which is translated, "Little girl, I say to you, get up". Mark 7:34: And looking up to heaven, he sighed and said to him, "Ephphatha", which is 'be opened'. Mark 14:36: "Abba, Father," he said, "everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will." Matthew 27:46: Around the ninth hour, Jesus shouted in a loud voice, saying "Eli Eli lema sabachthani?" which is, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" Mark 15:34: And at the ninth hour, Jesus shouted in a loud voice, "Eloi Eloi lema sabachthani?" which is translated, "My God, my God, for what have you forsaken me?" With love in Christ.

Just wondering...what makes you thing that "most Biblical scholars" believe that? Have you asked most of them yourself? Have you read the results of a worldwide survey sent to "Bible scholars" around the World, a statistically-significant survey that addressed that very topic? *** Maybe you're correct, maybe you're not...but I'm quite certain that you don't know if that claim is or is not true.
  • Let's get this party started! Or was it. "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her."

That's the first time I've ever heard that verse quoted correctly!
  • I can see my house from here
  • "I and the Father are one." (John 10:30) Some can understand it as one in purpose or in unity, but the Jews who were present understood it better when they said in John 10:33 "The Jews answered Him, It is not for a good work that we are going to stone you but for blasphemy, because you, being a man, make yourself God."

Jesus and Jehovah are ONE...in their thinking...They are not the same person. Jehovah crowned Jesus as the King of this NEW incoming system of government...1 Corinthians 15:24...Next, the end, when he hands over the Kingdom to his God and Father... It is not just a feeling within us.

Hello pugs, it is nice to see you. Since Jesus is crowned King, then Jesus is in control of everything, as only a God can. Colossians 1:16 "For by Him all things were created, in Heaven and on Earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities-all things were created through Him and for Him."

  • Jesus said at Matthew 24:14, “And this good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come”. This is in reference to a global preaching work that is to be fulfilled by Jehovah’s servants during a period know as The Last Days. As brought out in 2 Timothy 3:1-5. • "Que pasa Fernando?!" - I worked with a guy once. His name was Jesus. He spoke Spanish to me and thought my name was Fernando, no matter how many times I told him that was not my name- until one day, I told him "No contaban con mi astucia!" Then he called me "Chapolin Colorado." It sounds totally made up, but it's a true story, bro.
  • "It is finished." He finished the Old Law no man or woman could live to and ushered in the Law of Love that all can live to. He was drawing a line in the sand but few know or realize this.

Yes, that is true. (John 17:1-3) Jesus spoke these things, and raising his eyes to heaven, he said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify your son so that your son may glorify you, 2?just as you have given him authority over all flesh, so that he may give everlasting life to all those whom you have given to him. 3?This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 8:5, 6) For even though there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many “gods” and many “lords,” 6?there is actually to us one God, the Father, from whom all things are and we for him; and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are and we through him.
