Yes, the AMTRAC is right downtown.Love the train...whsi the US still had the system that was here before all tha cars, (love my truck) but the train lets me see where I'm going without pulling off at a truckstop,or risking life and limb looking around at the scenery!!!

There used to be no less than two major rail lines through this town, and two different stations. But the parent lines are long since shut down and the bridges in one direction are bad, so they just operate as spur lines in one direction to serve the local factories now.

Where I grew up as a kid, a train track ran right in back of my house. Where I live now, the nearest train tracks are about a mile away.
