  • Why not indeed. I believe you've changed my life.
  • If only it were that easy...
  • Because most of the people are too lazy to become rich. The rich had to work hard for their money, really hard. But people like Obama have tricked these people into thinking that they can just sit at home and have the exact same thing as the rich without working.
  • Most of us aren't born into that sort of thing like rich people are.
  • If the rich people got rich screwing the poor don't they deserve the anger?
  • Fact from fiction truth from diction. In America most would never become rich because they are taught from a very young age the way to riches is to get a college education, go get a job (just over broke) save your money, invest a little and work your way up the ladder. If they even mention doing a venture they are made to feel like crazy fools who will just lose their money and go broke. Americans need to think more like immigrants. They come here with little or nothing and turn it into millions. Because they believe the opportunity is here all they have to do is GET HERE. They are willing to pass up on a Caddy today to have a Benz down the road. American want it all and they want it now. Most do not want to put an extra 40% today to get 110% back in the future. Those here in American who are rich took big risk. As they say "go big or go home". It don't work for everyone but it has for many, especially those who were smart enough to manage risk. "Failure is success if we learn from it." Malcolm Forbes
  • I gave up being mad at rich people when I stopped being 14 and matured. I plan on being rich. It is possible. You just have to know what you are doing.
  • Rich in what? Gold, power, health, land, something else?.....your not very clear here.
  • People have NO IDEA HOW EASY IT REALLY IS. They just don't have the patience or the will. In today's day & age, if you have an Internet connection, a job that pays overtime that permits you to save a little money a month, and a checking account, you could be well on your way. But tell anyone how to do it, and they'll do their damned best to poke as many holes into the plan as possible because people are sheep toward becoming rich and lions at staying poor.
  • Is it really that easy? Why didn't I think of that one before? Some people aren't that lucky, no matter how hard they work.
  • Because I don't want to pay those "rich" taxes.
  • i am what i am today because i'm not . and i dont want to be rich. i would have been robbed of learning to make things on my own . how things work , the pride of inventing or creating . instead of taking it all for granted .--- nessesity is the mother of more than invention. and i beleive it makes you smarter . ;-)
  • Just do not get mad. Focus your energy and thoughts and actions on other things instead. Plus I am not sure it is easy just to make a choice to become rich and it shall be so.
  • WE HAVE A WINNER!!!!!!!!!!!! It doesn't come over night, you've got to work at it. You've got to massage it, stroke it, feed it, and sweat over it. Build it one brick at a time. Most importantly there is no cutoff date for starting. Nobody just has it handed to them; some way, some how they'll pay for it.
  • Because despite all the information available to me, all the suggestions, the advice, the pre-planning classes I ignored, I just went and chose poorly when selecting my parents.
  • That's a great idea. Unfortunately, in capitalism, one can only gain a dollar by taking it from another.
  • That's true, why didn't I think of that. I'm gonna start my own ponzi scheme tomorrow!
  • Money goes a long, long way. Consider the money you earn a month and subtract the amount for taxes, bills and money needed to support a family and you don't have much left behind. Those who are filthy rich may have had to leave alot of carnage behind to achieve their wealth, whether it be through exploiting your fellow students for help with study, befriending "the smart kid" and overlooking the help and assistance they gave you once graduation is over, bribery, blackmail, cheating etc. This can elevate to exploiting your coworkers, lying about your qualifications, credentials etc, in order to gain a higher position. Capitalism means bosses have the potential and power to screw the little guy around. Particularly in Australia where Industrial Relations laws allowed bosses to set up unreasonable contracts with their employees using the "take it or leave it" approach (which means you could be paid a poor wage that didnt correspond with your skills and qualifications just so the bosses and executives can make more money...refusing such offers could mean losing your job, and this is risky in such a devastated economy). Bonuses and incentives also contribute to how much someone earns, and this depends on the workplace culture and your boss etc. There are several reasons why people can't become rich overnight..most of which are too long to list. It's most likely that I don't know what I'm talking about. All I know is that money doesn't come easy and besides, I'm not mad at rich people. The idea of being "rich" is relative and I believe as long as you have a decent amount to provide for you and your family, you have a roof over your head, clean clothes everyday, enough food and water - you'll be fine. I'll shut up now ><
  • Because most people do not get a piece of the American pie, and it doesn't matter how hard a person works, since most people can only get to middle class, unless a poor person hits the lotto.
  • Why can't I do both? Besides - if I can hate a man for his religion, skin color, or political affiliation then why can't I hate him for his wealth or lack of it? Hating is one of the rights and privileges of citizenship isn't it?
