Because they can't find anything else to make fun of. Dude, get over it. People make fun of me because I'm Russian and speak with a heavy french accent. So what.

Because there are people out there that think that if you aren't into what they like they think there is something wrong with you, which isn't true. They think all people in society have to be a certain way, like a cluster of conformist "sheeple" Do what you want, and don't do what you don't want to do. It's not wrong to not play sports.

Because you are male, and that is one of the unwritten "laws" of male stereotypes, that all men like sport. I like sports but I'm not particularly interested in cars which is another of the unwritten laws, that all men like cars, but I've never bothered pretending that I'm interested to try and fit in, and in the long run you will get more respect if you stand by how you feel than if you give in and do what everyone else expects of you.
