When my place is invaded by about 1,000 ants then when I finally clear the place of them and open the door, a honey bee flies in acting highly irradic. This was around midnight, and I hate social insects.

I say it quite a lot. It's just a phrase. I like the drama in it, it makes me laugh :) I never say it in a serious way.

Good Question Dude. As a firm Atheist, I do this all the time God this, God That, Jesus H christ the other, and it's not because I believe in them, It is just a figure of speech. I would rather the kids heard me muttering for Christs sake, than for F#~ks sake, Though I do try hard not to do either. +

If said atheist had poor grammer and was raised in a religious society, they might use exactly that phrase on any number of occasions.

I wouldn't say that under any situation, but I would say, "God, what the hell is going on?" if I was stressed out. The word 'god' is thrown around so much nowadays it doesn't even refer to 'god' anymore. I say "Jesus christ" all the time and I'm not even referring to him, it's just an exclamation. Similar to "What the fuck?!".

When I see religious persecution, wars fought over religion, book burning, religiously based prejudice and willful ignorance promoted by the church, women subjugated in the name of religion and that's just to start I have been known to ask if that is really what God intended.

Whenever something unexpected is going on I suppose. I don't see how being athiest has anything to do with it though. Many people of number denominations/religions around here say it sometimes. The only person who I haven't heard say it is my deeply christian friend who thinks its evil to blasphemy against her god.

i think i am misunderstood.. i am not atheist..... . .But suppose i am (or anyone) is atheist, then why i/he should talk to God. Anyone can't Talk or pray or complain to God unless he/she believe in Him.. . . . But i am theist, and i should have 110% faith in God. So under any situation (Good or bad) i shouldn't complain to God, as whatever is happening is as per will of God. As God can't do any wrong to me at any time. As He is full of mercy & Love , He can't harm me anyway. But, if i am Suffering from any bad situation, its as per will of God(or Due to my own deeds) and I should have firm faith in Him, and should not complain. . . . But sometime situation become almost unbearable and i have to Pray God to forgive me of my offence and give me some peace. . . So for me any Firm atheist or Theist should not complain to God and say,"God,what's the hell is going on!!!"? under any situation..

When something weird is going on? I say "bugger" when I hurt myself - I am not literally referring to debauchery. When I say "damn", I am not referring to some form of condemnation. And when I say, "God, what the hell is going on!!?", I am not referring to a deity or an afterlife - I am responding to something weird going on :)

The name God and place Hell are very well documented and defined. Just 'cause he doesn't agree with it's proper use doesn't mean he can't use it. What other words do you plan to censor?

That's generally when you walk in on a donkey show. . As an atheist I use the word god. Most of my favorite swear words contain god, or religious references. Like jesus f***ing christ, god f***ing damnit, holy mother of god what the f***, and that lie is such bullsh!t, even Joseph of Nazareth wouldn't believe you.
