  • The band redesigned their logo for the German market because many German fans felt that the double-S logo looked too much like the logo of the Nazi secret police. All KISS albums sold in Germany bear the alternate logo.
  • The "SS" in "Kiss" looks very similar to the "SS" of Nazi Germany. The "SS" nazi logo is illegal to display in Germany. The "SS" was reversed to prevent any lawsuits against the band.
