  • Nope!! & Yes!! YOU!!!! J/K . XP
  • I ask alot of lame questions in Sillyville..but they don't get many points:) So I guess my answer is yes:) I do alot of times:)
  • No, I only ask lame questions just for a few laughs !! lol. But lately I've seen an unusual amount of lame people asking lame questions, hoping to get a lot of points and then they don't want to give any points to anybody that answers.
  • No I really don't ask that many Questions ;) I know a Few people That ask lame questions But I don't answer ;)
  • Nope, I'm not a big question asker - it has to be the mood I'm in before I ask several in a row (like tonite)
  • No, I answer a lot of lame questions just to get points. This is the perfect example-so gimme.
  • I ask a lot of lame questions. The points are irrelevent. It's not like any of my lame questions get any points. It's the boring ones that appeal.
  • i dont ask questions to get points ~ i ask because i want to converse with people and exchange ideas. i dont ask a whole lot of questions ~ i average about 10 answers for every question. whether my questions are lame or not is subjective ~ i leave that to you to decide.
  • In order to answer that question I would have to know what you mean by "lame". Can you give me an example of a lame question? Happy Tuesday to you! :)
  • I ask an occasional lame question, but it is certainly not for points. I do know what you mean and it is very obvious the people who do that. Doesn't bother me though. If points men that much to them, oh well.
  • Lame questions seem to be the life blood of this website. I do ask a lot of them, such as "Are ravens tasty? y/n" and "Where can I eat a gemsbok?" However, I never expect that any of my questions will get points, and often I do expect that they will be flagged and rejected. I answer a lot of lame questions too, but mainly because I don't have much of a choice. The difference is that I actually expect to get points on my answers.
  • I do not ask many questions at all good or bad and when I do they do not usually gain many points. Yes I know quite a few people that ask a multitude of totally inane questions.
  • I don't ask that many questions. And I don't think I've ever used the word lame. I think my questions make sense, or else I wouldn't ask them. I've asked loads of rubbishy questions looking back, though. And no, I never ask just to get points on my questions.
  • My questions are often unnecessary, but they are seldom lame.
  • Unless I really don't know the answer, I'm not likely to ask a question, either on AB or elsewhere. As to points, isn't that a by-product of this site, which is social interaction? I'm aware of several Aber's that ask lame questions, but ... !! +4
  • I ask questions to get opinions from people. Don't care about the points. None of them are lame.
  • I have never asked a question just to get points, and I try very hard not to ask lame questions, but only ones I am truly curious about, to have fun, or want to know.
  • I don't ask or answer a lot of questions for any reason. I do what I can to help others if I get points fine if I don't well thats fine too. I am not here to compete with anyone for anything.
  • If those questions were really lame, they would not get points. Or are there people giving points to lame questions just to get points themselves?
  • Nope... I answer a lot of questions (lame and otherwise) for fun and to help people, and moderate for points. ;-) I don't know anyone personally who does, but I know some AB members that do.
  • I like to ask out-of-the-ordinary which may be lame to some people............
  • I'm ignorant.
  • I ask questions because I want to find out something that I do not know or to solicit an opinion.
  • .to haVe interesting conVersations and sEE others perspectiVes and viewpoints.
  • ....did it ever occur to you that: 1) this question has been asked on here more times than I can count and 2) there just may be more than two choices to the answer. Like, maybe I wish to extend my already extensive field of insight and knowledge. Unlike you who seem to be stuck on two very negative choices I might add, I see Answerbag as a tool for feedback and only the truely ignorant would equate a thrist for more information as ignorant.
  • Only some of my lame questions are just for the points. Most of my lame questions are asked in the pursuit of inconsequential knowledge!
  • You're not ignorant if you want answers to questions .. And I doubt if many people here are asking questions to "test" anyone either. People ask questions because they want information they might not have heard before or thought about. Some ask questions to have fun and interact with the great people on AB.
  • On this site...no such thing. I ask more than my share.+5
