yes we stayed in the remote tuscan hills away from touristy places but had a hire car and saw alll the sights then b4 we flew bkspend 2 days in rome i wont spoil it ill let u experience how lovely it is

Yes, several times back in the early 1960s, when we were living on a Canadian Air Force base in Zweibruken, Germany. From 1960 to 1964 my father worked as a fire fighter for crash & rescue. He worked 2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights, then had 2 weeks off ... so we had lots of vacations all over Europe.
