I was given an American Standard Version as a kid during confirmation in the families Luthern Church. Upon my father passing away I took one of the two Family Bibles - King James Version. Upon being born again I got myself a New International Version for it's easy readability as I immediately got a hunger for the Word. I got several New Testinment pocket Bibles to give out when I come across someone who longs to have a Bible of thier own. I've had to replenish my give - away Bible stash many times over the years. I have aquired a large print King James for use with people with poor eyesight. I have a childrens version of the King James New Testiment. Somewhere along the way I got a Good News Version in my collection. For debates with those who claim the Bible has been mistranslated by man too much I got what is the prize of my collection - a 1611 King James Bible. I have two electronic pocket Bibles for taking on trips and quick verse finding - one King James and one N.I.V. I have Bible concordances, lexicons, trivia, and other referance materials for debates with people who insist you supply sorces for arguments as well.

I have a Chronological Bible and a New Revised Standard for myself.
