  • You dont. But that would be very handy later when you need to find the heat load per square foot. Some sites/resources might give you a standard value for rooms to work around. Otherwise Id add up all the heat sources in the room (say maybe 100W for each person plus computers and heaters etc). If you have to be very precise youll have to take into account wall temps and other bits aswell.
