I vote for who I feel is the very best person for the job! No political affiliation, other than I would never vote in a Communist.

Skeptical.

I'm a democrat, but I would not vote for my party just because, well, they're my party. I would still vote for whoever I think would be best for that position and how the public can benefit from it.

Left. Socialist ideals but realistic expectations.
-
Very Socialist, I was inspired by my fratenal grandfather, a staunch union man who fought with the International Brigade against Franco's Spanish and then join the British Army in 1939 to fight Hitler. He was Irish, so he didnt have to enlist, but felt it was his duty to stand against the jackboot.
-
ready for the revolution.
-
Conservative, but a different brand of conservatism than the Republican party largely adheres to today. I am close more closely aligned with the conservatism of Goldwater in the idea that the government has no business in peoples lives on social issues, any social issues. It's conservative, but very libertarian as well.
-
I am what I call a rational conservative. I am not conservative to the extent that I swallow all I hear from conservative politicians, nor do I agree with all conservative positions. I try to think decisions out on individual issues on their own merits.
-
I don't really have one. It honestly depends on the issue being discussed.
-
I have no party affiliation and I distrust politicians of all parties. I suppose you would call me a sceptical leftist idealist with a liking for traditional values.

I don't believe in the Ayn Rand view that selfish is good..I believe we are all here to help one another. So the political belief system that is not self-centered, callous and mean-spirited would be the one to which I would be attracted...also, I think without honesty, it's all a scam, sham, and powergrab.:(
-
I would call myself a Chomsky-ite anarchist.

Conservative leaning libertarian, though I refuse to join any party, and believe the party system should be abolished, along with all political parties. Candidates should run as themselves, not as standard bearer for special interests under the "name" of a party.

Conservative, traditionalist. However, few people fit perfectly into any one school of thought IMHO. I support the right to abortion and state healthcare for example which may not match with most UK conservatives.

work hard, pay the government, not the people, save the money you work for to spend it how you please.

People should just hug more pillows. Less strife this way. If not, just get drunk. How much does any of this crap really matter anyway, aside from one group of people or another always going-LISTEN TO ME I'M RIGHT YOU'RE WRONG GOD RULES LULZ. Anyways I dunno. All of it seems like crap, even what I would be more likely to stand for, so I don't really have a position. Try to go with the current and be happy. If that's a weak way to go about, then that's fine, at least nobody is hurt by my mentality.
