My computer turns off as if ac power fails suddenly..and this often happen while playing games or doing some heavy works..and even happens while installing win xp..So instead I'm using win vista..

If it happens during heavy load, it's likely a heat issue. When was the last time you cleared the dust bunnies out of your CPU heat sink? Running Vista may only make things worse, and will cause plenty of other problems besides. Vista is less efficient, so it will push your system harder and make it heat up quicker.

As Jerv said, it sounds like overheating, cheack your PC specs against the game, check your fans are working and, as Jerv said, check for dust around your graphics card, processor and psu.

ya sounds like overheating... if its a desktop and u never open it, there could be a ton of dust built up in there. really is an easy fix
