Yes all of them are open on a Sunday they just close earlier, around 6pm.
-
They are, at least some of them are, thank goodness. Not that I'm a drunk, but I don't keep lots of booze laying around and I'm not going to stop drinking because it's Sunday.
-
Nope. My grandpa is the winemaster at one of them and he actively campaigns against this silly blue law.
-
Not in our little town. Everything is closed on Sundays. But in the larger cities yes they are open. We can buy beer in our grocery stores though. I remember in Wyoming, when I lived there, that you had to buy beer and liquor at a liquor store. They had drive up windows you could get a "drink" to go. Is that stupid or what? CRAZY! +5
-
No, I live in Pennsylvania where the state runs all the liquor stores.
-
of course, i live in ireland!
-
No, they are always closed! lol
-
No not here- but that might be because we don't any. Most people just stock up on fridays before they travel here, back home in these pastures.
-
yes some of them are but not all of them. speaking of liquor stores, anyone who reads this answer... is it just where i live or do people who go to liquor stores where you live feel they have permission to park where ever they please. my nearest liquor store is in a plaza. EVERY SINGLE TIME i go there i ALWAYS see people parking literally 100% on the side walk, in tow away zones, fire truck zones, handicap spots, even places that arent even parking spots. honestly, if they parked where they were suppose to it would be 3 to maybe 10 feet further away. are people in your town in such a hurry to get their alcohol fix that they have a blatent disreguard for the law and other people that they cant take an extra 5 steps???
-
yes, most all days, except easter friday and christmas day !
-
My town has had a petition going around for this. One new store is collecting signatures, but most are against it because they don't wanna have to pay for the extra "employee hours". But the petition has gotten quite a few signatures, and it is up for debate in July.
-
In California, all day! ;-)
-
About half of them are. WA allows them to be, but it's not a big day for them in my area.
-
Nope, not in Georgia.
-
Yes - South Africa.
-
Yes. 9 am to 6 pm for most in New Jersey.
-
Yep, I'm in South Africa. They are open :-)
-
I live in Georgia. That should be answer enough.
-
Yes they are - England.
-
There are no liquor stores permitted to start up a business in the town I live in. I guess that would sort of mean they are closed on Sunday.
-
yes and no.
-
about maybe 5yrs ago they just allowed my state to open liquor stores on sundays, they are opened from 12pm to 6pm
-
Yes. But only after 12
-
I think so, but just after 12 pm.
-
I know you can't buy liquor on Sundays till 10am on sunday.
-
I'm in WI....Most ppl in my town are lushes. We can alcohol anywhere anytime we want
-
Yup. But only after 12.30 in the afternoon!
-
Yes they are, but I think they can only sell alcohol between 11am and 11pm
-
Liquor stores on Sunday here open up at 12 and close at 4pm. The gas stations can sell beer all day Sunday, but not liquor.
-
No, we still have 'Blue laws'. I have to drive to New York or Massachusetts to buy liquor on Sunday.
-
In my state, all liquor is purchase in state-owned liquor stores (wine and beer can be purchased in supermarkets and convenience stores). About half of the state liquor stores are open on Sunday, half are not.
-
No
-
LOL YEAH! I live in Poland.
-
The silly "blue law" was repealed years ago, so, yes...as far as I'm aware, they are all open around here on Sunday.
-
yes: California
-
I don't really know here in New York as I've never tried to go to one or driven by them to notice. I would assume the ones in the city are but nothing is open in our little village on Sundays except the gas station.
-
Not directly in my town, but there's some open in the next town over and the military base next to us.
-
In Virginia most of them are open on Sunday.
-
Yeah. Till 6 PM.
-
yeah the co-op in the village is open 7-10 everyday and that sells alcohol.
-
No, they are not.
-
no
-
They are open, but you have to wait until about ten a.m. I think before you can purchase.
