Too bad yours is about to be stolen.
-
I doubt if I would say anything, but I suspect that I would pity them for being so wrapped up in themselves that they are unable to appreciate a compliment.
-
I'd say, yeah those knock offs look pretty realistic now.
-
Too bad money can't buy class.
-
Nothing. They wouldn't be worth my time.
-
You should return it and buy yourself a better attitude...
-
I would say nothing. Because anything that would come from my mouth at that point would not be good, and if i cant say something postitive: i dont say anything at all.
-
Well damn your about a bitch! :o)
-
Snappy replies are too easy. Just ignore her. No need to meet her level of civility. Karma is ticking ....
-
People like that aren't really worth talking to. I would say nothing.
-
Nothing! Absolutely. . . . .nothing! I'd raise an eyebrow and realize how FAR BENEATH me they just proved themselves! Then pity them. . . .just a little. . . .that they define themselves by "material" things! Sad.
-
I would start laughing...and shake my head and make my I pity you face...shrug my shoulders and move along....still laughing...
-
I'd be thinking "Wow - I was only being nice - it's actually a really UGLY purse!" but I'd be to stunned to say it out loud.
-
Id say "you can suck my D*&*"!
-
A condescending smile TO YOURSELF will speak much more than any words can.
-
I would say: maybe I won't be able to afford it, but at least I am rarely thought of as a jerk!
-
I'd say, "That's ok, I only said it because I figured even someone with your looks needs to be complimented SOME time."
-
Quite a few years ago, my wife & I were at a gathering where a 'girl' was showing off her new purse, & telling everyone that she paid $300.+ for it. After listening to her 'brag' about such a silly waste (to me) for a while, I asked her how much it was. When she responded (I think it was $325. +/-), I responded: "Funny- that's the same amount that I gave to the Food Bank just last week". She shut up!

do you know, I doubt id have an answer for that, I d be totally suprised at their answer..........
-
I would say "Don't feel bad. I don't judge prostitutes."
-
id just chuckle and say "ya sure about that?"
-
Nah, I said I liked it, not that I wanted it... It looks good on YOU, but it's WAY too gauche for me. I just wondered what type of woman would carry one like that... Guess I know now... (Turn and start to walk away)... (Under my breath)... A snobby bitch.
-
"How do YOU know?"
-
"Yeah, I know. I'm just not willing to blow strangers for cash." Honestly, my first thought was "I can't afford the stuck-up bitch tax."
-
"Well, I could afford it if I were a whore, but I'm not, so it's good that you got it!"
-
6-10-2017 I would say nothing, because I got more class than that.
-
"It suits you", lol!
-
hahaha so glad you asked this question. Last night I had a dream which I had forgotten along those lines. I was with someone looking at something to buy, not an item but, It could have been a telephone plan or insurance of some kind. The woman looked at me and said she would only give the price to the person I was with because it was obvious I could not afford it. But she used a really smooth, but insulting line which I forget. I forgot it in the dream as well and was trying to remember what is was when I awoke. In the dream I was wearing used clothing and dressed very differently than the other person so I could see how she got that impression. Someone was selling diamonds nearby, very big ones and I wanted one for myself.
-
I'd just say what they should have: "You're welcome" and walk away. Why waste words on someone so ignorant.

This conversation is between 2 people of the same ethnicity? If so, maybe, 'but i sure as heck can try.' If not, then maybe, 'sheesh'.
