I got 2 years under my belt, but all that knowledge has been long since forgotten.

Yup. 4 years at a junior/community college taking General Ed classes and a bunch of culinary arts classes (and getting 2 associates degrees by default), then 3 years at a university completing my bachelors degree. I was in school waaaaaaayyy too long to not be a doctor, lawyer, or other professional :)

I think what we call college and you call college, are different things! Our "colleges" are also often called High Schools (Years 9-13) then there's University or other tertiary institution. I left college/high school after 6th form (Year 12) like almost everyone else of that era. There werent too many people that went on to Uni back then ~ and it was long before "Student Loans" came about.
