I don't know if it's really either...they just kind of are :) What I will say is that I HATE being called my full name: Cynthia.
-
i like my first name but i love my last name
-
I have learned to live with them, but growing up was hell because of them
-
First name is the best, hands down. Last name is unique, which is great but often gets misspelled as a result.
-
I couldn't have gotten a better name. I like my middle name too.
-
I tolerate my last name but with my first name I am so used to it that its me. I could not go by anything else.
-
I hate it that both my first and last names almost matches to Michael Phelp's (My last name's Phillips by the way). Of course I'm a swimmer at my school, but when he smoked that Bong, my enemies made fun of me. Now high School's over so I never have to Swim again.

My last name is fine - it means warrior, I like that. My first name is fine too - its Hebrew and I really like biblical names. Neither are names I would have particuarly chosen though.
-
my first name is my one and only link to my mother, a gift she gave me the day i was born and i will carry to my grave my last name is the gift my husband gave me on our wedding day, Lord willing, i will also carry it to my grave i love my name

I love my first name, I have always loved it. My last name...not so much. Don't like it when other's repeat it.
-
My first name is all right - pretty common, but I don't mind it =P My last name though, is the name of my adoptive father who is an evil bastard, and I wish I hadn't allowed my last name to be changed - but I was only 8 at the time, and wanted my last name to finally be the same as my mother's, so there was no way I could know better.
-
I like my first name. I kept my last name when I divorced my son's father, so it's kinda tolerated.
-
My name was given by my grandfather. I am not putting up with it. I love every part of my name: Li Jin Shang.
-
I like them, although both are hard to pronounce and spell, apparantly. I tolerate that.
-
I like my first name. It's stupidly hard to pronounce, but it's unusual and it's mine. I can tolerate my last name, I'm not really a fan of it, though.
-
I like my full name very much. My parents did a good job in choosing it.
-
I always liked my full name and I wouldn't change It for another.
-
I wanted to change it all to my maiden name. Everything else sounded gross in compare. So I did. I might even tatoo it on my shoulder.
-
I hate my last name. I have the same last name as my dad. My mom and dad broke up when my sister and I were babies.
-

No, I like my names but, then again I may be a little biased.
-
I didn't like my name, and another kid had a name I really liked, so I gave him some of my best marbles and we traded names. The downside was that we had to swap houses after that, and I didn't like his family and they didn't like me. Our parents made us swap our names back again. Sometimes I forget who I am. <Important: Answerbag cannot guarantee the accuracy of this answer>
