I had neither from 2006 through 2009 , when I finally succumbed and bought high speed internet and cheap (minla channel) cable TV. I prefer PBS, History Channel, Discovery Channel, National Geographic etc for TV and these programs are all available on the interent right now for free. Also love Netflix for movies, so - who needs a $100 a month cable bill for nothing?

No TV. Why deal with all the crap that's on TV when we have Youtube and other video-sharing networks? XD
-
TV. TV is good too watch sometimes, when you like the shows, but many people today watch TV more as a daily routine. TV destroyed much social life (political parties to the right say too much wellfare state caused passive people, I say it was too much TV). The worst thing with TV is that you have to follow timetables. In the late 1970's and the early 1980's, the videocassette recorder begun to break with this, as you could tape shows and watch when you wanted.
-
You can watch TV on the Internet but you can't get Internet on a normal TV
-
Baylifts, take the damn TV... leave the internet be! (Plus I can watch TV on the internet so shhhhh!).
