  • Nope, everyone is beautiful in their own way. And beauty will never fade in a person, wether it be inside or out.
  • Not TRUE beauty. That's radiates from the inside out.
  • No, but youth has. Beauty is ageless and timeless. As long as admirer has eyesight to see outer one and insight to see inner beauty.
  • NO Sophia Loren is a classic beauty
  • I would say there's (at least) two levels to "beauty", at least when we're talking about what makes humans attractive to each other. Definitely age has it's effects on the body, skin, hair, etc., and most of us don't really like those effects. I really don't like having gray hair, despite any talk about how it's dignified or whatever. It represents lost vigor of youth. I think it's important to confront the aging process, to not fool ourselves about how we look as we get older. Women seem particularly vulnerable to this self-delusion and resistance, but men do it too. Growing up means making peace with growing old. But having said that, there is the notion of "inner beauty", and we've all met old people who radiate a warmth, tranquility, enthusiasm, and self-confidence which is quite attractive. I would say that's something which is available to all -- but certainly not if we're tied up in knots internally by being unable to make peace with gray hair and wrinkles.
  • I have developed an axiom in my advancing years- "Youth is beautiful." In our society unless you are 12 years old and a size -2 you are average at best and already on the way out. We idolize children as sexual beings (which they have no capacity to understand yet) and use their innocence to sell whatever we have to market. These children are held up as icons- a standadrd to attain- and since we cant, we are encouraged to nip tuck till you feel you have or are considered a freak and addicted to surgery. "But...but... I have "Body Dismorphia"- DER. No wonder.
  • I hate how people set age limits on themselves, when there really is no need to. Youth may vanish with age, but beauty does not happen to be. I, for one, count on being a pretty 50-something (I'm not going to let myself go to waste).
  • Never.
  • Nope. That's the beauty of erm...beauty.
  • Absolutely not. True beauty is beautiful forever.
  • Beauty is in the eye of the beholder... ;-)
  • According to Madison avenue ,if you are over 20 you have lost all your beauty, and probably close to death. That is totally unrealistic and negative to society in general.Madison attitude should be shunned for they are delusionary,
  • society's superficial idea of beauty does. Real beauty does not.
  • An object of beauty is a joy forever.
  • Absolutely not. Beauty transcends age, gender, religion, politics, and stereotypes. One of the most beautiful sights I saw, I saw recently. Four very large, muscular, tattooed men were walking down the street pushing baby strollers. They had diaper bags, and styrofoam coffee cups in the stroller cup-holders; they were laughing and clearly out on a "daddy" day with their kids. Physically, they looked like very imposing fellows, like they would be more suited to being elbow-deep in automobile grease with bottles of beer than pushing strollers and discussing diaper rash; I thought it was a lovely sight because it completely broke down that barrier of stereotype. Everyone understands parenthood, even non-parents. Everyone understands getting out with your kids for exercise and fresh air, and who better to do it with than your friends who also have babies? No, beauty has no age-limit. It only has a tolerance-limit.
  • Maybe to some outer beauty may. But to myself "INTER BEAUTY" is where "TRUE BEAUTY" is at. It all falls back to that old saying. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."..............+5 for your question.......
  • Heck no! I think anyone can be beautiful if they take care of themselves...its when you let yourself go that beauty dies.
  • Personally, I think people in general get more beautiful as they age but for some, they only see beauty on the exterior so they may put an age limit on what they believe to be beautiful. I've seen some older people who look better than people who are younger.
  • Yes, when you're dead
  • What we find beautiful is a reflection of our personality and individuality. So almost anything any age can be beautiful and retain that beauty.
  • No, I don't believe it does, but not everybody sees beauty in the same way. Beauty, like comedy, is very subjective. The effects of age can alter our external appearance, but the real beauty of a person is not affected by their age.
  • not at all. I have seen some of the most beautiful people over 80 years.
  • depends on what kind of beauty
  • no but a woman's peak is 23. what a drag for me.
  • If you're talking about just appearance alone, then, the people who are honest, think yeah, usually.
  • Hell yes. There are too many old people showing off too much skin
  • No, wise old eyes and a smile despite all the pain in a long life are some of the most beautiful things I know. Youth and physical beauty with arrogance are some of the ugliest things I know. I'll take my elderly, obese and diabetic neighbor with her lovely laugh and kind face over Paris Hilton any day of the week, month, year, decade, century. She has given of herself all her life. She is quick to love and slow to anger...all things of great beauty to me.
  • No not at all. This is an example. She became more beautiful as she aged.
  • No, beauty is more than looks, oh yeah she's fuckin hot but her heart is black-no thanks
  • no, sexy might, but beauty does not.
  • I dont mean to sound too cliche. But beauty really is in the eye of the beholder.
