my brother's was "Hey"

My son was quite late in talking and would only say the first half of a word or grunt. Had speech therapists on his case as well. His first actual words were said together "tunnel , tricky". He was mad on Thomas the Tank Engine and just came out with them one day. He hasn't stopped talking since (thank goodness) .

mine apparently was daddy... or da da then came Whats thaaaaaaa (whats that) and G'day, apparently that is all i said all the time. gday dada whats that? (oh god i just realise how aussie i sound with Gday being one of my first words.) What was your little boys?

my son said daddy instead of da da but that is not that uncommon. My frist word was HOT because I tuched a pretty red stove. every time after that all my mom had to do was say hot when ever she did not want me to tuch anything and I was gone.

My grandson's first words were whazat, doie (doggie)and more. He has been talking for quite awile, but I can't understand what he says, because he speaks in his own language. He talks to himself a lot in sentences and paragraphs, but I only understand a few words.

my daughter's first word was ca-ca -- she'd say it pointing to herself (her name is Catherine) -- we still call her Caca as a nickname

He said "byebye" when he was 6 months, but hasn't every said it since then, just dadadada and mamamamama, just like that too.
