  • Yes and I am so thankful it's becoming a law in almost every state that makes that illegal. I think you should care more about how you look then to dress that way.
  • I don't like it at all. It looks slovenly and like they don't care about themselves.
  • I don't want to stare at any stranger's underwear, so yes.
  • Its not disgusting... it makes you look like a royal idiot though! I once saw a kid like that running for the bus - have never seen a more pathetic thing!
  • I don't see what the problem with it is. I mean to each their own. I don't see how legislation can be passed against this when it's perfectly legal to wear a thong bikini in public. Really it just seems like another way the government gets to make racist laws against people they don't consider one of their own (and I'm white).
  • Not disgusting, just kinda bizarre!
  • I don't think it's disgusting. I just think it looks ridiculous. Baggy pants are ok, but wearing those same pants under your ass, is nonsense. How did people start thinking that was cool? It's not even a functional fashion trend.
  • Many years ago I was a firefighter. At a couple of fires I attended, I noticed a few people standing outside a burning building, with clothes on that may not have been quite right. One was a guy about six foot seven, wearing a fluffy night dress and great big steal toe capped boots. Another was a young woman wearing a top hat,a tea shirt and suspenders and black stockings. This may have been because they were the first things they managed to put on, moments before they got out of the burning building? When I walk along and see people wearing pants halfway down, it still makes me wonder if they may have been in a fire or might be quite simply "Bloody idiots!"
  • Disgusting? No more so than many "fashion" trends, some of which are considered quite acceptable. However, I do think it's silly and stupid looking, not to mention quite unattractive. Equally, if not more, silly though is the trend toward legislating against it. Government making dress codes?!? What a waste of taxpayer dollars! What's next? Deciding who does or doesn't look good in a bikini? Jailing people for wearing white after Labor Day? Besides, kids just take it as an excuse to rebel and get attention. If they were simply ignored I can bet the trend would fade away. My suspicion is that the rash of laws against this are in areas where the predominant number of "perpetrators" are young black males.
  • I would say looking at the crack in ones ass as not very tasteful. An fat ass, male or female is not attractive though women with a shapely one is alright.
  • I don't even know how the walk! ?
  • Literally halfway down? Not too many people do that. But sagged down a little bit, like the pants are a couple inches below the waist line around the rear end, it's alright. Makes you look better to tell you the truth. But you should only do that if you have a shirt long enough to cover your pants, don't want your entire boxers showing...
  • Not as long as I don't have to look at it, or if the dangling pants are worn by someone attractive. One time some dude about 6'6" was wearing his pants at half-assed, so I just made a point of avoiding him. The next time I request that a service dude be sent to my house, I'm going to request one that isn't a heavy smoker and one that wears his pants at full mast.
  • Oh! Puleeeeeez! What IS THIS "LOOK" ABOUT???? I'm just NOT gett'n it! AT ALL!!!!!
  • If people knew it's origin they might have a different view of it. It started because when you are jailed they take away your belt. This causes your pants to fall down. That started the hip hop ghetto thing with the pants down and the underwear showing. It probably started here in New York City as does most hip hop trends.
  • ah its hilariious i like to walk behind them and count how many times they stop to pull them up!
  • Sure, why not go all the way where their pants are dangling from their ankles, throw in some underwear with hearts on it for good measure! I see a lot more women nowadays with all their stuff hanging out all over the place now too. C'mon now?
  • Thats so funny, the guy im sort of on offish with, i cudnt call it a relationship but anyway he wears his pants like that and im always nagging him about it but honestly i really like it, on most people i dont but he has a really good ass!!!
  • yes, it looks ugly and it started in jail. murders and theifs wanting out.
  • yup. it not only looks untidy, but uncomfortable too. how it became a trend, i shall never know
  • not as bad as people's avatars showing women's bare asses fer real zack, groddy dude
  • I think it depends on if the person can make it work or not. Some people look good that way on others look stupid.
  • It is unattractive and sloppy, but at least it forces these young guys to change their underwear when they normally would not do so because no one else would know. So in that respect, it is less disgusting.
  • It's more stupid than it is disgusting to me. It comes from people who are in jail, and don't have access to belts because they don't want them to hang themselves. It's a thug thing.
  • I really can't stand it....
  • Yes, I do.
  • Yes! Crack kills and NO I do NOT want to see anyone else's underwear...invest in a belt people! *feels better* I'm glad I got that out.
  • More humerous than disgusting. They have trouble walking and have to hold their pants up at the groin. They remind me of old men struggling to walk and having to hold their hernia. Last week I saw one wearing kaki's which didn't exactly fit the picture.
  • I don't find it disgusting as much as I find it stupid looking, lazy, sloppy, idiotic...like someone doesn't know how to dress themselves. I'd love to see one of them try to take off running with their pants drooping like that. I DO find it disgusting when the guys I see wearing their pants like that hold them up by the crotch...looks like their playing with themselves. I mean, when is this dumb-ass trend going to end? This trend also cause me to post this question a while back...and have you ever felt like doing this?: http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/756075
