    Mary Claire Cheney, former Vice President Dick Cheney's daughter, pledged $3,000 back in July to the campaign to stop the ballot measure attempting to re-ban gay marriage in California. Like her father, she believes that she shouldn’t have to answer for her party’s attacks on same-sex parents.

    Leaving or helping to reform the Republican party would be better. The republican party has driven away voters in droves by being so divisive on abortion and gay marriage. Millions of people voted Democratic just because of these two issues and because of this the Republicans ended up having no chance of winning. You don't just need god on your side to win the election you need voters too. Driving people away isn't a good way to win an election.
