Yes. It was a friendly divorce. No drama.

Yes . . . the worst part is if you have children. I don't think they ever get over it no matter how much one trys to protect them. I think when people with children get a divorce, the children should stay put in the house or apartment and the parents cycle in and out on their weeks. The parents can live with their parents, siblings, whatever if they can't afford to keep up two places . . . but the children should suffer as little as possible and I think that solution would be the very best for the kids.

I went thru the divorce process, all the laywers, paperwork, tears and the heartache that went with it. But my husband and I did work things out and got back together before our divorce would have been finalized. We went to counseling and almost 4 years later, we are doing good, actually better than before.

Yes. Very painful. At least 3 appearances in court and one two years or so later. Custody fight, tried to leave the kids out of it, I don't know what she told them. I let them read the papers, etc. orders, etc. when they became adults. They were in my custody and lived with me. She rarely visited. Never again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
