How should society treat gays and lesbians in committed relationships? I just don't understand how people can be so passionately hateful about something that won't affect their lives one bit.

i think that gay guys are great friends to women actually. truthfully, they are! and also, i have several friends who are bi or lesbians and they're still normal people. i think because those people are different, people treat them seperate, like segregation. all you have to do is treat others how you want to be treated and ignore what you can't change (unless of course, you CAN change how other people think!)
