Yes! Here in America we call it *brunch*.
-
Why not it depend when you get up . If its a late wakeup no problem. Eat a good healthy meal.
-
Yes it is called brunch. It's cool to do this especially at the weekend!
-
Yes. I do this all the time.
-
I call that brunch
-
Absolutely not! It is a great sin against God! It just missed the cut for the 10 Commandments!
-
You can skip lunch but you can't skip breakfast, as you need energy in the morning for doing your work.
-
It is not the preferred healthy practice but a lot of people do it as a habit by skipping breakfast and eating a midday meal as their first meal of the day. Usually that is called brunch and comes late in the morning and before midday as an occasional holiday or non workday meal. It is also not the most preferred for health.

Brunch ???
-
I suppose? It's called an English Breakfast. I don't reccomend it though if you are watching your weight or colesterol.

well.. if you look at the word "breakfast" that is what you eat to break your fast - so technically, the first thing you eat in a day is the thing that breaks your fast - whether that be a sensible cereal, a full fry-up or left over pizza - or even your evening meal if that is the first thing you have eaten. The french (love them or loathe them, they do have a very healthy diet!) have a super word for breakfast - le petit-déjeuner. Now, 'déjeuner' is lunch - so le petit-déjeuner is a little lunch - so I suppose you could have breakfast and lunch at the same time by calling it a petit-déjeuner.

I did today. It's called brunch.

Sure but you might get rather full. Try brunch instead, then you won't be so full :-)
