  • So they can be saved too. It's our duty to tell people about the greatest thing that could ever happen to them. We would be wrong not to.
  • Because some "zealots" can't feel good about their own faith unless they are bashing on others beliefs, or trying to convert the un-convertable!
  • You would like to share your life saving experience with others, in hopes that they to will become saved.
  • Because we truly know what awaits them if they don't accept Jesus at lifes end. Also we want them to have eternal life with God.We know outside of Jesus they have no hope.Christ commands us to let our light shine before men so they might see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven. We have a burden for others.
  • There are some who believe that the more good works they do (conversion is a good work) the better their reward. Which makes no sense at all.... It's Heaven People... Heaven... It's all wonderful. There is no Obstructed seating in Heaven.
  • Heaven points. That's why they trash everyone they think they can't convert. No points there!
  • I don't but I do answer questions asked and that is all.
  • Because if someone who was already saved hadn't shared with my I'd still be lost
  • Because when you are saved, you have a love and compassion for people that you didn't previously have. That love expresses itself in not wanting to see any person experience the torments of Hell.
  • Well, lets just say you knew the truth about something, and you wanted other people to know so they could be fulfilled. Would you share the truth?
  • Primarily because of love for God and neighbor. (Mt 22:35-40) We are also commanded to. (Mt 28:19-20; 2Tim 4:2-5; 1Cor 9:16) 1Tim 4:16: "Pay constant attention to yourself and to your teaching. Stay by these things, for by doing this you will save both yourself and those who listen to you." Though many do not like it, we still talk to those who will listen, but should be nice and not pushy in doing so. • u may not can understand this...but not a single Christian will get to Heaven just by himself..He better of done the Lord's Will and Way enough that he caused or helped someone on the the way to COME TO GOD, if by no other reason than the EXAMPLE of his life ...that people knew he was a servant of God....helping others and living righteous....we cannot Accept, Repent, be Baptised and beleive thats all Jesus meant..IT is Absurd to think so small and shallow...justme:)
  • To help them of course.
  • Because if they don't, they'll get tortured forever and ever and ever.
  • The Bible commands us to (the Great Commission). Also, we care about the people close to us, and if we truly care we'll share the Word of God with them.
  • I would not as my soul is between God and I !
  • Potheads. Ever notice that potheads just cannot let go of the notion that everyone else MUST try some weed too? Same thing.
  • Once you have been born again, you want to save as many of your friends and family as possible so they, too, can enjoy the blessings you have found. Having said that, evangelizing / proselytizing should be done in a respectful manner. Once a person has indicated they aren't interested, let it go while still maintaining your friendship.
  • Cause they want everybody else to sound as stupid as they do
  • The main reason is that Christians are commissioned by Jesus to go into all the world, preach the Gospel and make disciples of men. In so doing, we may help to keep someone from the Lake Of Fire. Many won't want to hear this message, it will be a "bother" to them but Christians are still commissioned to do so.
  • Obedience to the command of Jesus Christ. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. (Matthew 29:19-20) The mission of the Church is to proclaim and establish the Kingdom of God begun by Jesus Christ among all peoples. For more information, see the Catechism of the Catholic Church, sections 767-769: http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/pt1sect2chpt3art9.shtml#767 With love in Christ.
  • Because Jesus' disciples were commissioned by Him to bring the Gospel message to the lost of the world.
