  • Possibly a coincidence -- possibly contaminated gas; Recom.: place approx. 8ozs. gas from your tank into a clean, clear glass container (ie, mayo. jar) & let it sit undisturbed for several hours. The gas should be clear & clean, & uniform in color & clarity (slight yellow 'tint'). If not, the gas is contaminated.
  • You might have bought bad gas. Sometimes gas stations have moisture in their storage tanks or maybe even a crack in it. You can go to an auto parts store and get a water remover additive and try that.
  • I agree with these guys, bad gas. Not a common occurrence these days, but does happen. I am likely dealing with the same thing myself right now
  • if you overfilled it it can cause a sensor to get fogged
