Do you get irritated when someone mis-spells something?

Nope not really. If it's a simple mistake, and it's still readable than I do not get irritated. Though I get really irritated if someone spells my name wrong.

Sometimes. People who mis-spell common words annoy me if it looks careless. I make a lot of typos, but I try to correct them. Of course, a lot of American spellings look pretty odd to my eyes, but that's another story...

No, but I get irritated when people dont take the time to spell out words completely. Like when U is substituted for You. That kinda annoys me.

Only when it's something that should be easy to spell. If it's a complicated word, that's fine with me, at least they tried. Typos are common when typing fast, but when someone writes "accept" instead of "except" that kind of bugs me. I wouldn't say anything or correct the post, but it would bother me.

It depends on who the person is. If you're a grown woman/man and you're misspelling the word "tries," I find it irritating. As for children, I don't find it irritating at all, I think it's adorable.

Typos happen. The only time I get irritated is if it's a person who chides others non-stop about spelling. Ironic.

No, I am the Queen of typo's and I spell in the English way so most Americans probably think I spell everything incorrectly anyway.

Not really because I don't have any room to get irritated at anyone when I am the QUEEN of misspelling something! What irritates me is when people misuse words or they make up their own words to try to sound proper. For example, my brother always says, "Tooken". (Past tense for took) He'll say, "How many have to tooken?" I make fun of him so badly!" I could go on on this subject but I'd end up writing a novel. LOL

Yes! I really do. Of course, I occasionally spell a word incorrectly, so I really shouldn't be so put off by it, but come on, spell check!!!
