If you believe that TRUTH is absolute, and not relative to a person's point of view, then there are undeniable truths. However, each person has the ability to disbelieve or deny any or all absolute Truths (even if true) due to our ability to lie, even to ourselves, so all truths are deniable from the human point of view.

There is no such thing as an UNCONDITIONALLY undeniable truth. However, there are an infinite number of possible conditionally undeniable truths. For instance, "If A then A", in its clearest, simplest, driest form. If we agree to a set of foundational assumptions, we can derive "truth statements" using those assumptions - that's the basis of the "truth" of logic and mathematics. All undeniable truth statements in these systems are predicated by the implicit "if we agree that these foundational assumptions are true..." clause. Many philosophers have tried to argue that some of these foundational assumptions have an unconditional undeniable truth for various reasons, such as that their converses are inconceivable, but that's no argument as that may only represent limitations in how consciousness can perceive reality. So, although pretty much anything can be an undeniable truth if we start from the right assumptions and conditions, and very few things can be held to be REASONABLY undeniable given reasonable, pragmatic assumptions and conditions, not one truth is absolutely and unconditionally undeniable. I would challenge anyone to refute that.

Well if you disect the question than you are really asking if there is a such thing as truth at all. If all things that are truth can be rightfully deniened than there is no truth. If you state that there is no such thing as truth than all statements can be denied including the statement about there being no truth. In essence you cut the legs off of your own statement. So really you cannot make the statement that there is no truth unless you make an exception for the statement itself.
-
an undeniable truth is that ur reading this statement
-
Nothing is impossible.
-
I could say: "There is no such thing as an undeniable truth." But if that sentence were undeniably true then there is such thing as an undeniable truth and my sentance cancels itself out.
-
many people have said that the undeniable truth is that we are going to die. not true. just because there is no record of an organism not ever dying does not mean that everything will die, this is the common problem of induction. just because you have seen it before does not men it will happen certaintly in the future. the one truth the exists is that there is no truth!!! this may seem like a self defeating statement but you need to re-define truth and relise that everyone has differnt perspectives so there will never be an ultimate truth x
-
this is a difficult question, because if the answer is "no, there is no such thinkg as an ultimate truth." isn't that in itself an ultimate truth?
-
A=A A is with resect to it's self, the same. A is A. Heideger

No, what we deal with is a "practical - working" truth, it's what we understand "truth" to be at that moment. There are exceptions to virtually everything in this universe - including our perceptions of "truth".
-
we won't physically live forever
-
Yes, there is: 1. Fact of life truth: everybody dies (personal comment: at least their physical bodies- so far we havened been able to stop this). This is an undeniable truth to this date. What happens after physical death is...debatable 2. History truth: The Nazis killed millions of Jews (personal comment: relativism in history can be dangerous). 3. Personal truth: I have pets (personal comment: I am interacting with one of them right now).
-
Yes, and those things go by different names, such as Relations of Ideas (Hume) or synthetic a priori (Kant). Example: "Bachelors are unmarried males." If you deny the statement ("It is not the case that bachelors are unmarried males"), you have uttered a contradiction. Similar example: "Round things are round." Utter the contrary--"It is not the case that round things are round"--and again you have simply stated nonsense. Here's something a bit different: "This sentence is written in English." Or, say this: "I exist." Actually, you ccould construct an infinite number of statements that are undeniably true or, as philosophers these days like to say, true in any possible world.

Undeniable truth are the countless physical phenomena in life that “all” human beings can potentially and collectively agree up on. The existence of collectively verified things for example: The Sky, the Ocean, Sand on the beach, Bananas, Trees, Mountains, Nicole Kidman and so forth. Today follows yesterday. We need air to breath. Not one "reasonably" psychologically healthy person (regardless of their religious or philosophical stance) would disagree with that (providing a person knows who Nicole Kidman or what a Banana is). On the other hand: An apple having no side effects or that smoking cigarettes is “only” bad for you is not necessarily true. This could be disputed...

i think therefore i am that is the only undeniable truth
-
"Undeniable" truth = a phenomenon that cannot be proved false. A matter of faith, not agreement. Example = religious verities. ;-)
-
truth is a perception. It is an UNDENIABLE truth that we all percieve things differently than others. UNTIL, you give me an example as in, 2 exact clones of one being are raised in EXACTLY the same environment, with EXACTLY the same experiences (which would mean they would have to do EXACTLY the same things) as in every being reacts different than another. It is an UNDENIABLE truth that I exist. For i am the only on judging, and what i hold true is my truth, and im not denying it.
