  • 7 cents a gallon.(I think)
  • Gas Prices were between $0.21 and $0.26 per gallon
  • I don't know for sure, but I'm sure is was not .21 to .26 cents a gallon. I worked in a service station in the 1960's (and yes they were sercice stations, not gas stations as we see today). The prices ranged from .20 to .30 cents a gallon. Depending if there was a gas war. I sure some of you folks don't what a gas war was.
  • We visited Virginia City, MT this summer and took this photo of a gas station closed in the late 30's. The upload cut the photo back, but the price on the regular (not Ethyl) was 17.9 cents a gallon. It was The Great Depression afterall.
