I think so education standards are way higher than when we went to school lol.

hell yer! they know how to play the world to there advantage! they laugh while playing peek a boo because they are so amused at how stupid we look!
-
ohh definitely. children are getting more intelligent as the years pass. they are maturing faster, and gaining knowledge about topics most people would be shocked to learn children know about (politics, sex, crime, drugs, alchohol) but thats progression....=)

My 2 year old granson called at 6:00 Am two mornings ago and then hung up after uttering some unknown cuss words ?
-
Ohhh geez !!!! Much smarter than we think !!! Too clever too :)

It depends upon the child. I know some kids who are book smart but if you tell them to go do this and then do that they stand there turning in circles. There is another little girl I know who was in the gifted class but she does or says some stuff that makes me stop and shake my head. It just depends.
-
Mm. Nah.
-
Yes, of course. The generations to come are always smarter, and better than our own. They're exposed to a higher level of social atmosphere right from their birth than it was during our births. Also, they can learn and identify things because they have new brains and its during the first 5 years that they can learn virtually anything they want.
-
I don't know if they're "smarter", but they do have a very different outlook and sense of perception that adults no longer have, and it should be considered.
-
Way smarter than we think. In fact, if they are given the right opportunities at home from a tiny age they can jump way ahead of what they learn in school and are very often more intelligent than the teachers who teach them!
-
Has anyone won "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?"
-
not necessarily smarter. Just that they are still in school learning more and more everyday-that adults could have known but forgotten.
