Confront them knowing that they wont change but they probably wont like me anymore so i dont have to worry about them being around anymore.
-
All of the above at one point or another depending on the ammount of time I would have to spend with them. I can't hold my tongue for very long, but I do have self restraint and can deal with a lot before breaking when necessary.
-
I always just ask them to leave me alone if the do not like or agree with me. Just skip me and leave me alone.
-
Tell them to go away or give them a bad look.
-
If it was a friend I would honestly let them know I was annoyed. Something along the lines of, "I know you are trying to joke but I am not really in the mood for it." or "Okay, that's enough of that silliness. Know any new tricks?" A stranger, well that depends. What are my options? Move to a different spot? Let them know politely that their behavior might be distracting to others perhaps? I would not annoy them back...the world has enough asses already. I am unlikely to suffer in silence unless I know that the annoyance will only last a short time.

A. tell them to beat it
-
NOne of the above...I would just walk away.
-
Depending on the mood I was in it would be either (B) or (C).
-
Return it!
-
Tell them
-
If they were realling annoying I would tell them However, I would clue them into that by being annoying first I will suffer in silence if I know they are trying to annoy me on purpose and want me to get angry If I can, I will walk away
-
