  • Elope. Just be sure you can sell it as a 'romantic' move to keep your friends and family from getting pissed.
  • Sure, you just have to be rich first.
  • Why, yes it is! It's just a matter of what you're willing to compromise on.
  • vegas baby! lol ;) where are you anyways?
  • yep my parents got married in a tiny wedding apparently. My dad asked his boss at the time ( who was his good friend) to be the best man on the day of the wedding! and they still live happily together. I heard my gran say how her parents got married in such a quiet manner, and lived happily together for 30 odd years! I think it's in a state of mind. My parents are very stingy by nature and don't like to waste money on unneccesarry things.
  • Of course it is ... you just have to figure out your budget and not go over it! A small wedding is much more personal anyway.
  • yes whoever said it was required that you have a huge wedding my youngest brother had a small wedding and he had no problems i think this stems from culture and upbrining personaly for their is no requirement for a wedding i mean do folks expect the couple to be in debt or send them in debt get married even if it is only with the local justice of the peace
  • It is all about YOUR budget ... IF you cannot afford a church weddin g; you can get married at the courthouse by a Judge for about $25.00. OR; You might just take a cruise as your honeymoon and have the ships captain marry the two of you ... kill two birds with one stone ....
  • It's twice as cheap as the best divorce. And not half as worth it.
  • Very possible. I've been to many weddings where everyone had a hand in in, from the sewing and cooking to decorating and planning. And those weddings were the best! Even my own wedding many years ago, my mom and I did all the sewing for me, her and the bridesmaids, the cake, and much of the cooking along with some friends. We grew flowers and used them for decorating with just my bouquet and one large spray from the florist. Friends supplied the music, and it was fabulous. I've been to weddings where the location was free and the food was all made by friends attending and everyone felt they had a part in it.
  • No way.You will be totally broke by the time you wake up.Its like a bad dream. The money part for some.As for me I do not advise anyone to go bankrupt!Haha!
  • I pulled off my wedding of 30 people for $3000. We got married in a park, had a small reception over the road at a lovely restaurant.
