A breakfast treat for me is a full English breakfast, this consists of sausages two eggs (poached, scrambled or fried) bacon, baked beans, sliced tomato (grilled), black pudding, hash browns, fried mushrooms and two slices of thick whole meal bread buttered! Sets you up for the whole day ahead!!

after a night out, if my bellys feeling iffy, I love a bowl of ambrosia creamed rice for brekkie!! its yum! :)

Yes I would choose breakfast as I never eat breakfast because I don't like it. But if I were out and eating eggs, hash-browns bacon or sausage the treat would be an English muffin toasted with butter.

As a treat - not every week: An "English breakfast":Fried bacon, egg, chips (fries) and baked beans and toast. For my hearts sake,I would follow that with orange juice and fresh fruit salad. No sugar or cream. LOL.

I'd go for a fancy croissant, maybe with almond or chocolate inside or possibly a very nice Danish, apple or prune. We often eat full breakfasts so those aren't just a treat for us, it's just 'breakfast'.

Snap Crackle and Pop with beer. The fiz from the beer enhances the loudness of the snap crackle and pop:) Actually, I like to get a Philly soft pretzel with hot mustard.

As far as 'treats' go, my favorite are Cherry Toaster Strudels, with or without the little icing packs....now that's a treat.....but I'd always have it with something nutritious, like scrambled eggs, etc...or even cereal; I'd never eat them by themselves; think of your blood sugar spiking!!!

an eclair would be near ecstasy

Hello, I should have been a cop :-). Donuts, donuts, and donuts. I ususally will have three (a vanilla persian with nuts, a chocoloate long john, and a bearclaw). When I was younger I would have five glazed donuts and a coke in 15 minutes. Now that I am old and an so desperately hard trying to watch my figure and get into the best physical condition possible, had to break it off and temporarily end my loving relationship (maybe even permanently). Oh hell, one here and there can't hurt, can it?

Maybe one of those Almond Horns with the ends dipped in chocolate might be nice.

Danish. We have a place were you can buy cinnamon crunch bagels; good choice also. Cracker Barrel (Southern type restaurant) also has excellent breakfasts. I sometimes go there and eat breakfast for dinner. Sausage, grits, pancakes, eggs (any style), etc. I surprise myself and eat the whole thing. LOL

Since I'm low carb having lost 45 lbs. (sz. 16 to sz. 8) that way, my breakfasts are simpler and quicker than ever - a tablespoon of peanut butter in one hand, and a few berries (raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, or the least expensive of the berries, strawberries) in the other hand. Along with those, sometimes I also grab a few spoonfuls of non-fat plain yogurt! This breakfast works like a charm - peanut butter SEEMS like the treat, but it is fabulous as a daily part of the low-carb/low glycemic healthy eating lifestyle (just skip the bread most of the time - only have a slice of BREAD as a treat! Lowest sugar/carb is RYE, so I have a slice of that once in awhile at breakfast). Enjoy!!
