  • Remember the statistics are not head counts, they are estimates. Actually, I cannot remember the stat but I recall seeing it used in Al Gore's recent movie "Inconvenient Truth." I do remember when I was in Jr. High in the late 1950's we talked about what the world would be like when it had three billion people, it got there in 1959.
