Learn from the experience so that I never repeat it in another relationship. I might also write down my feelings to try to get some closure on this situation.

That is why I tell my friends every day what they mean to me. People assume that they are young and have a lot of time and then something unexpected happens and they say "but I didn't have time". Yeah they did. Sometimes our pride gets in the way and it seems to have become un PC for a guy to say "I love you" or a girl to say "I care for you" unless they are in a relationship which is a shame cause honestly you never know. You can tell them without verbally doing it too: cards, gifts, doing things for them (without expecting things in return). Nobody is promised the next 5 minutes.

You can't change it so you have to come to terms with it. I agree with notanomymous hater, in that I too believe they are looking down on you and will know.

Thankyou all for answering but i think my aquestion has missled you guys. i havent had a friend that died. this is a question i was asked by some one, and i just didnt know how to answer it. i was so shocked. i am really sorry if i missled you in anyway, and if you get mad at me please remember that i am actualy writing this to straighten out the miss understanding :) My biggest apologies.

I'm sure it would bother me. But I let my friends know what I think of them. Otherwise I wouldn't be their friend.

My best friend past 8 years ago,my soul mate. I never told her how i felt. In our friendship we all ready knew how we felt, she is my soulmate and words were not nessesary we felt it within. I hope this has help you out.

i would write it all down and bury it with them.

I would write my friend a letter and send it to his last address. i would not put on a return address so i didnt get it back. it would go to the dead letter office, and i am sure he would get it from there.
