If you are planning to eat your rabbits should you give them worm medicine? If so...where do you get it and what kind?

If rabbits have worms they will most likely be in the intestinal tract. When you remove the intestines you will remove any worms. I alwsy look at the liver and as long as it is healthy looking I will consume the rabbit.

I raised rabbits commercially for many years and we never wormed our rabbits and worms were never a problem. We kept all the breeders and young stock above ground in cages and there just isn't much opportunity for them to get worms.
