  • Because life can only get better. When you hit rock bottom, there is not where else to go but up. If you need help, I am here. I cannot directly relate to what you are going through, but I have my own demons.
  • I'm sorry you feel that way, because I can relate to that feeling. This may sound really mundane, but the reason I hang on is that I hope things will seem better the next day. If you're upset, that's probably not a good time to make a decision, because you won't be thinkinging clearly.
  • think about getting a couple of donuts and coffee on your way to where ever in the morning.
  • It is hard when you are depressed. I get that way from time to time just being overwhelmed with things. I don't know your particular problem(s) but just to let you know, most of us have felt like you do at one time or another. Take a walk if possible. Look at nature. That usually helps me. Take Care. It might help to see you physician. He can prescribe something to help balance things out. Keep us posted.
  • Before things can be different, they have to be "not the same."
  • Be sure your blood sugar level isn't too low and you aren't dehydrated. Have a glass of water and a nutritious snack. Take a nice hot bath or shower and listen to some soothing music. Take a couple of aspirin and have a cup of warm milk or some Tension Tamer tea, if you have it. Go to bed. You will feel better tomorrow.
  • Scrappy, I feel your pain. I've been exactly where you are, and pretty recently, too. Judging from some of your other posts, you've been battling the Demon far longer than I have, and with less success. I can only remind you that what you're feeling now IS the Demon, not you. If you can even get to the point where you realize that your current state is you+The Demon, not you alone, that is major progress (much like anyone with the flu recognizes that the flu is not who they are). Please keep battling, there are numerous reasons to do so, and few reasons to quit. http://www.answerbag.com/a_view/913197 If there's anything more I can do to help, please drop me a line (e-mail address is in my profile) Don't let the Demon win! http://www.noondaydemon.com/
  • Scrappy, you can hang on to us. Screw the naysayers and jerks. There are plenty of us out here who care. Remember that life is a lot like ... surfing. You can catch the "big one" and ride it in to shore, but one little slip and you fall to the bottom. Some people can ride that ragged edge in the pipeline, and some have the wave fall in on them (or at least that's the way they feel). And some can ride that crest, but fall off the back, sliding down into the trough between waves, only to be picked up again by the next one. Just know you're in a trough right now. Hang onto your board. The next wave is coming to raise you up, again. ;-) And if you feel you're drowning, reach out for us... We're here. ;-)
  • Friends and family who care, Scrappy. There was a time in my life where, if it weren't for my friends and family, most especially a small group of them, that I honestly believe I wouldn't be here today.
  • Whats wrong Scrappy?
  • I wish I knew what to say to help, Scrappy, but I'm afraid I'm puzzled about what is troubling you. Just know that you have friends here who pray that whatever load you are carrying will be lifted.
