  • Yes..it's very dangerous right now. I currently have to travel to Reynosa and Monterray very frequently; most of the time I have someone escort me because of the crime and corruption. The border cities ie. Reynosa have the most crime, because their Gov't has the least amount of control in these areas. The drug lords run these areas. Safe Travels....

      The only place in Mexico I will go now is to Nuevo Progresso during daylight hours only. I go in maybe eat at Arturo's and out in a few hours. I prefer to only go with friends. I will not go to Reynosa or Matamoros because of the danger. I used to love to go to Amatiton, west of Guadalajara, helping to build two churches in the area. I have many friends there but will not go because of the danger now.

      It wasn't too dangerous before the drug cartel wars there because of the high demand of drugs by Americans north of the border.
