Appaloosa

An English or Irish thouroughbred , but for a good riding houre a 3/4 breed is a beautiful ride even if they can be a bit skittish For a jumper the Hanovarian is hard to beat get a good hunter and you have a brilliant horse for riding and jumping
-
merry go round. but seriously, shetland ponnies.
-
Apps & Pals. Apps are the most graceful, but honery. Pals are very gentle and extremely intelligent.
-
falabella because their adorable and are only the size of your average dog.
-
tennessee walker. they are fairly large and ride like a caddilac.
-
I think I like Clydesdales the best, but Tennesse Walker/Arabian crosses are really neat too!
-
Tennessee Walkers, Clysdales, Arabians, Morgans, and Palaminos. I think they are all the prettiest horses. Watch the Arabians though. Some of them can give lots of attitude!
-
American Quarterhorse, and any piebald 'plod'
-
I love all of them, but my favorite is probably a TB or Arab. I have to say Im not a huge fan of cobby types because I prfer something flighty which doesn't need much leg, but each to their own and their all lovely!

Lipazon (sp?)

Arabian They are just magnificent!
-
Appaloosas are my favorite horses. I love their colors and I love riding them.
-
I like Palaminos, Arabians, Halfingers, Pintos, and Apaloosas just to touch up on the subject. That is dumb because I asked specificly FAVORTIE BREED. So much for that. I love them all. They are all such a pleasure to ride, and fabulous to wacth gallop.
-
Thoroughbreds.
-
There's a gray horse that Clint Eastwood would always use in his movie or most. Does anyone know what kind it is?
-
Okay, I tried to narrow it down, but I can't. I have a Pervain Paso and I love her. But I also have a thing for Irish Hunter and Drafts, Fresians, and Quarter Horses. I learned how to ride on Quarter horses. And I loved their level headedness and strength with all that speed and agility. But Becca will always be my favorite. Even if she's a pain.
-
this is a tough one. I'm partial to an Arab I guess. I've won a few barrel racing titles on one, and i love their personalities. They are also very energetic.
-
Generally any type of pure black horse, but specifically I like Fresians!
-

I love all horses..but my favorite is the quarter horse
-
Arabains are my favorite kind of horse, i just got one today. She's the picture in my avatar
-
Cripes...hard call here...but currently it would be a Rocky Mountain Horse. They are gaited so you get the smooth ride/glide. Not too large, easy keepers, and known for a "Puppy Dog" attitude with people...they LIKE people as a rule. Next would be the Morgan (old style only please, leave the new one's in the barn). Morgans were my favorite for most of my life, so beautiful, strong and generally willing. Then a hard toss between Mustangs, Arabians, and Old style Quarter Horses....as you can see I go for the smaller ride....lmao. Web site explaining Old Style Morgans http://www.sportmorgan.com/families/index.html http://www.rockysrus.com/ The Quarter Horses on THIS SITE all have the Old Style look, big strong backends, nice shoulders, plenty of bone and strength in the legs, and they are breeding for feet to carry the weight, instead of the currently fashionable DAINTY Arab foot on a much heaver Quarter Horse...All the power in the world in these butts! http://www.crossthreequarterhorses.com/sale.htm First Picture is Joe Banjo a Rocky Stallion. Second is Cass Ole (played the Black Stallion, an Arab. Me on a white Rocky (gelding).
-
I love all horses, but, I own an American Quarter Horse and a Morgan . Nothing against other breeds, those just happen to be the ones I have.
-
I like Tennessee WalkersMy frend has one named Shabang she is very cute and I also like Applaloossa's
-
Thoroughbreds... I love the speed. I own a Thoroughbred x Warmblood and shes beautiful.
-
paint horses, all the way. specifically, three year old black and white medicine hat paint horses. named chaucer.
-
Arabs are gorgeous and I love their high strung temperment!
-
A well-trained one with a good kind eye. Good temperment. But we do lean towards Appaloosas, having bred them for years. Had both English type and Western. Did everything with them from Dressage to horsepacking in the mountains. Very versatile.
-
Freesians..Big horses with a big personality and heart..gotta love em
-
Arabians, they have lovely elegant dished faces and are graceful. Shires cause they're big and cuddly, the Holstein cause they're good for dressage
-
The old-time looking Quarter Horses, not the new ones that are starting to be bred in and called QH's im talking about the stout and short ones.
-
Bashkir Curlies! Less than 5000 in the world today, hypoallergic to those that suffer from horse allergies, extremely hardy hooves (rarely if ever needed), VERY VERY sane, and comes in all sizes and colors.
-
I love horses period but especially Appaloosas for their great heart and personalities and since I like draft horses, I'll take a Swedish or Irish warmblood to cover the countryside.
-
I would have to say a 3-way tie between Quarter Horses, Arabians and Australian Stock Horses. Quarter Horses because they are strong, powerful, beautiful (Mostly from their Arabian descendancy) and extremely smart. They also have a great sense for cattle. Arabians because they have spunk and because they are the most beautiful horses ever. Last but not least the regular Aussie Stock Horse; These horses have the best personalities and temperments. They are usually cool-headed and have an excellent sense for cattle, not to mention they are always beautiful :)
-
Tennessee Walking, and Quater Horses!
-
A grey , especially steel grey.
-
unicorn. uh well I don't know much about kinds but I love full black and full white ones. P.S. Now that members have mentioned some, I'd go check 'em in wiki and google images :)
-
Quarter horse.
-
Friesians.
-
Tennessee Walker
-
Foxtrotters and Tennessee Walking Horses. I also love Pintos. I had a Pinto Foxtrotter mare that I bred to a Tennessee Walking Horse stud, and raised two of the most beautiful five-gaited Pintos.
-
Arabian horse for sure ... its a hot blooded horse breed very intelligent and perfect by all conditions also it is known to have the purest blood line of all horses it has been as it is now for more than 4500 years ... and i also like the Tennessee walker :P
-
Any horse. :)
-
I don't have a favorite...I love them all. Even the ugly ones, even the broken-down ones...
-
i like the Clydesdale horse or the Arabian the best. but i love them all!!!
-
Thoroughbreds! They beat out warmbloods athletically anyday, and you have to be an excellent rider to be sucessful with them!
-
my fav breed is the cob s reliable n sturdy or welsh mountain
-
Arabian
-
I like TBs or clydie x TB
-
Arabian, specifically straight-egyptian. Arabians are the oldest and purest breed today, not to mention they are gorgeous with the dished nose, high carried tail, and bright intelligent eyes. And they are smart, sometimes too smart, but to me that is what makes them challenging and interesting.
-
hmmmmm decisions decisions. Well i cant really answer this as i have 13 horses and i think they would be offended if i had to pick a favourite - I have Boerperds, arabian crosses, american saddle horse, percheron x friesian, a variety of ponies and a thoroughbred. that is a very hard question! :-D
-
mine hes a straight haired curly hi color is chestnut with two socks
-
The kind you can ride...
-
All horses are amazing, but the real, genuine, old-time Spanish mustangs are my favorites. Some don't work out, but most can if you take your time and win them over. And it seems like the longer it takes to win them - the smarter they are, and the better they work out. They have always been my best horses. Especially the ones with a real long rams-head profiles, for some strange reason. Maybe they have more "smarts" than the so-called pretty horses. I have had those big headed ponies deliberately put their self between me and certain death more than one time. No other breed i have ever worked with has ever done that. So to me they are more beautiful than the finest Arabians.
