Drink lots of water and take a hot shower. Gargle some hot salt water throughout the day.

Is the nasty taste from bile or medicine? If it's from bile, there's not too much you can do. I'd recommend getting your nose to smell another scent. Part of the problem with bile is that you have to smell it afterwards. If it's from medicine, I'd recommend chasing it with a glass of milk. Make sure you get a lot of the milk on the tongue and savor it or it may not wash away that nasty medicine taste. I've never tried the milk after vomiting so I can't tell you if that would work, but just the thought of it is making me feel queasy. I hope you feel better soon, Frankster.

We have cough drops..Ricola Lemon Mint or Herb that taste pretty good. Then there is the good old standby..your red/white hard mint candy. Do you have a cold sweetie? Happy Wednesday! :) ((hugs))

Like Jennie thanks all of you Abers said, it usually won't go away until you feel better, but in the meantime, just brush your teeth well and use mouthwash
