Ooh, I've often pondered this very point. I think it would be either Gondor or Mirkwood. I REALLY like the city of Minas Tirith in Gondor, but I've got a closer emotional attachment to the Grey Elves. ^_^ Lothlorien would be a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there - too far away from everything. Rivendell is too cliché.
