I think the corn is not cooked as long and retains its crispness and snap.

Nebraska farm raised sweet corn bought at one of the Lincoln Farmer's Market locations is better. It is fresh picked (this morning) and ripened just right for cooking and eating. From the field directly to the pot and then directly to you is the very best.

It coes from Dalmais corn. That is a special breed of corn that only farmers growing for Green Giant can get. I know this for a fact!

Have you tried Del Monte Fresh Cut Whole Kernel Corn (no salt added)? Just like fresh from the garden. It's the only kind I buy (except for corn on the cob when in season of course)! :) ((hugs))
