  • I had this problem and solved it just now by taking the battery out and putting it back again. It wasn't just the alarm, but also countdown timer and probably reminders too (I didn't check). They did flash the screen but made no sound or vibration. Before resorting to taking the battery out I checked all my ringtone settings (to no avail) and tried "restore factory settings". I also searched the phone manual online, then tried google (which got me here). Unfortunately I'm no closer to knowing what caused it or how to avoid it happening again. It's probably a firmware bug. My firmware identifies as follows (find out by typing *#0000#): V 7.36 21-11-05 RH-18 (c) NMP 1100 Language: MA Unfortunately you can't update the 1100 firmware yourself, so I might take it in for warranty repairs if it's still under warranty.
