  • Jason means Healer but at the time we really were looking for a name that was sensible yet not to common and his middle name was chosen after a good Friend, it gave him the choice growing up of using his first or middle name and at one point he even used the first two letters J.W alot Jenny- her real name is Jennifer and she came to us when she was 10, a beautiful little redhead. Her name mean Fair one in Irish, we understand she was named for a grandmother who also was a redhead from Ireland. They are my two giants at least to me they seem that way. I'm 5ft Jason is 6' and Jenny is 5'7"

  • nope... I just like names that sound good. this flow is most easily accomplished by having each name have a different number of syllables, but names with the accent on different sylables typicaly flow well too
  • Well my name, i dont have any children yet, is the female version for Excaliber. It is old Engligh, very unique and hard to pronounce.
  • My daughters name has all the letters of my wife's name. Starts with the same letter too. My first son's name is from the name of an island. When he was born I was in the navy on a trip where we passed this island round about the time he was born. My second son's name has no significance other than it is very popular Biblical name and suits him perfectly.
  • No, just a name that I thought was nice and not too common.
  • Hey didn't you say you were home schooling? I hope your not teaching spelling. ROFL. j/k My son is named after me, the others are just names we liked. Not after anyone in particular.
  • My eldest son is named Jaqueey after my mom Jackie and Great Grandpa Jacki. His middle name is after my father. He goes by Jack. My other boys have names that sounded good to me. Connor and Stratton. No significant meaning but great names in my book.
  • Our oldest is named after my dad and my husbands grandfather and his middle name is my husbands name Our second we kind of drew a first name out of the hat and his middle name is my husbands middle name. Our third has the same initials as I do. My husband and I both have 7 letters in our first names and our middle names together have 7 letters so our first and third have 7 letter first and middle names. Our second child will probably some day realize this and feel left out, he only has five in his first and middle name. LOL
  • No, but their spelling does. My husband's name has an L, my name has a double L, so my daughter's name's also have double Ls - Allison and Isabella.
  • I don't have any children...=( And I don't think my name has any special meanings either.
  • My wife and I both read books of names and their meanings. So did the friend we had picked to be our son's godfather. We all came up with lists, and all 3 lists shared one name in common. Conrad. It means bold counselor. That is exactly what he has turned out to be.
  • They are living proof that hubby and I were able to agree on two names for our two kids w/ out killing each other LOL.
