Yes, I believe so. Love needs to be nurtured because otherwise, it would die a natural death. But of course, it also depends on the people involved. For example, some people who have not seen each other for years still love each other as if they've always been together.
-
Maybe interest can... but true love, I am not sure that feeling every leaves.

Romantic love can decrease if it is neglected or abused. If a garden isn't watered, fed and the weeds pulled, the flowers will fade. But, this kind of love can be rekindled and come back to life with nurturing. There's different kinds of love - parents, children and friends. Love doesn't have to decrease and for me personally, I love more now than ever before.
-
generally love matures with the passage of time.
-
As long as it's romantic.....hence the change of relationship partners and divorces!!!!
-
I believe it can, but only IF it is not being worked on. Love is a sand castle built too close to the shore. You have to keep fixing it and rebuilding it or else after time the waves will wash it away completely.
-
Depends on how you understand it.
-
"Yes it can, that's why you always, from day one, gotta work on finding ways to preserve it!!"
-
You'd better believe it. It needs a lot of nurturing.
-
It's a time being phenomena, but honestly working on it together will strengthen it!

In school, one of my old (and he was old) teachers said that a friend had said he was as much in love with his wife as he was the day he married her. This teacher was disappointed with that - he said - surely you ought to be MORE in love after 30 years together than the deay you got married. That made a lot of sense, and has stayed with me all these years (he told us that, in class, about 30 years ago, and he was pretty ancient then!

Love?
-
not if it's real
-
Love never dies, but time allows a person to be able to deal with the hurt of not having that love around or near or sharing with anymore.
-
not necessarily it mellows.
-
It doesn't die, it just evolves. It becomes more of an enduring love and less of an immediate passion.
-
the christian bible says "love is as strong as death" that, my friend, is real love

No

Not if it is real. But it DOES take work to keep the "spark" alive. Love, like anything, is never easy

-
No, time doesn't kill love. Inattention and selfishness do. With time, love can grow and deepen if you tend it and nourish it.
