  • The second one describes me pretty well, so I hope most people go for that. ☺
  • Can I have both?
  • wait, one question...what's "exotic entertainment." hahah i'd say that i prefer a guy who wears casual clothes but has no problem wearing a suit... ...that applies to his personality, as well.
  • The two are not mutually exclusive. Some of us fulfil both criteria.
  • How about me? I enjoy wine, good food and symphonies, yet I work on cars and home repair, can cook one hell of a Chilean Sea Bass and have no social skills! Oh wait, the last one kinda does me in, huh?
  • I'm the first kind of man but there have been a lot of times when I would rather have been the second.
  • "Bond, James Bond." Fine wines found, meals made, entertainment enjoyed, villains vanquished, and shelves set.
  • A little less sophistication goes a long way! : - )
  • I don't mind as long as he makes me laugh and is fabulous in bed! I can bring the sophistication, put up a set of shelves and cook a mean spaghetti!!
  • Both would be nice. As long as man type #1 has a enough money to pay someone to do that second half (the building jobs), that's fine. I can make a mean spaghetti myself.
  • if i had to pick between those two qualities, i'd pick the guy who enjoys fine food, wine. You can always learn or teach someone how to put up shelves, but you cannot teach sophistication or worldly experience. And, i love to cook, so i dont care about someone cooking for me. But, cooking can be taught too. :-)
  • A combination would be wonderful but I really like spaghetti so I'll go the spaghetti route.
  • Give me the spaghetti anyday. :-)
  • Guys can have both. I've got them all except for being very good at the home repair thing. I will be painting door trim today however.
  • I'm lucky enough to have a man who fits into both categories: sophisticated, enjoys fine food (and can cook), etc. But he's also very handy to have around ^_^
  • I'd be happy with either. What I currently have is a WoW addicted nerd. :/
  • I myself enjoy a man who is creative and can cook. This type of man shows off his quality of being relaxed and having fun at the same time.
  • Man who enjoys fine food, wine & exotic entertainmennt. I'll make spaghetti for us.
  • Hmm...both seem good to me, but I'm happy with my boyfriend. I think I know more about computers than he does, and I know shit about them, but I think he must have read every book on Earth and viewed every movie there is to see. And, for the amount of movies he owns, you'd think he would have the knowledge to build some decent shelves, but nooooo everything just lays on the floor ha ha. I don't know that he's all that culturally sophisticated, but he does like all "the arts" and all, yet will watch whatever gory horror movie he gets his hands on, so he's just versatile that way. And he's a very good cook, way better than I am...that is, when he isn't lazy or dead tired and doesn't decide to just order a buncha junk food. :D Don't know where all that fits in, but it's all fine with me.
  • Tool belt and spaghetti. Hands down!
  • I'll go with the shelves and the spaghetti.
  • With Old School you get: . -enjoys entertainment options from Gilbert & Sullivan to Devo. . -appreciates fine food from a Tommy's double cheesburger (chili and mustard only) to Kincaid's crab-artichoke dip. . -Absolutely no appreciation of wine, but an ever-evolving beer palate. . -Hand tool wizardry, both household and automotive . -Underutilized cooking talent (I can make a crab-artichoke dip *better* than Kincaid's). . Yet, for some reason, no woman has seen fit to enjoy my talents....;-D... . .
  • I'm not really into fine wine and all that jazz. Gimme a man who cooks (and cleans it up afterward!) any day of the week!!!!!
  • gimme the manly man that does the handyman jobs...along with big calloused hands...i will make the pasta!!
  • give me NUMBA 2!!!
  • Number 2 definately. As I could care less about fine food, wine and exotic entertainment. On the other hand, he needs to have a bit of intelligence or I'd get bored.
  • number two please
