I know some would recognize him what what he is - others would dismiss him as just another nut. Either way, he's going to have to work a lot harder this time around to get us to believe.

I am assuming that Jesus will return the way he said he would and that will leave no room for ambiguity or opinion. Other assumptions or scenarios leave room for all sorts of possibilities. I'm going with the prior assertion however.

We can surely recognize him. The bible says, when he comes for the second time, he will no longer come as a as a baby in a manger but rather as a King, in his might, among the clouds with angels and sound of trumpets, such that all the eyes of the earth shall see his glory.

even HIS family thought HE was losing it a few times, until they understood..... assuming HE could, probably so. maybe not IF we had been told HE may return other than at the END.... we are really not to assume or speculate..there are things we dont know & may not ever(where did Moses go?)but we are human....and is not wrong to ask....

If Jesus ever returned and saw what has been done by a bunch of nuts in his name, I have no doubt that not only would he be pissed as all hell but he would take it upon himself to whack a number of his followers over the head with the Bible

Assuming Jesus was a deity, if God were to return to Earth, it would have to be in the form of a really cool page on a hot social networking site featured on a reality TV show about ONLY the very best parts of YOU, because we're really not paying much attention to anything else. Back when God supposedly came the first time, people were actually looking and searching for such a person. People by and large don't care anymore. They haven't for centuries. Well, when Jesus returns this next time, as Revelation describes him as being the first of the figurative 4 horsemen, I am pretty sure he wont be coming this next time to try and preach and teach about the Kingdom, instead he will be coming to setup that kingdom which includes clearing out all the opposing kingdoms. Daniel 2:44 is a prime example of what needs to happen when that Kingdom finally gets setup. (Daniel 2:44) 44 “And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite; So I am pretty sure they wont be given the opportunity to evaluate him, nor do I think anyone will be trying to.
