I believe there are as many voluble Christians as there are voluble Atheists. It's just a pity these two groups can't keep their views to themselves.

There's an overwhelming amount of everything on this site. Best to just put a cold compress on your head and get used to it;)

Answer bag gives you a bag of answers for your questions. If you change the name you wont be seeing me anymore AND youll get a bagg full of atheists instead of answers.

I believe there are too many religious people on this site. I think they should just go door to door soliciting their religion, instead of clogging up answerbag with wierd questions.

Actually, there are plenty of people who would probably claim that there's an "overwhelming amount" of girls who don't know they're pregnant, people who have found a pill and don't know what it is, straight and homophobic, gay, Republican, Democrat, Americans, Canadians, those from other countries, those whose s/o cheats on them (or they THINK they do), those who just cannot seem to figure out that AB works with CATEGORIES, who can't seem to get confirmed, male, female, and otherwise, not to mention Muslims, Mormons, Christians, Buddhists, Blacks, Whites, Asian, Middle Eastern, Eastern Indian, etc. Why should the Atheists have all the fun?

what constitutes and overwhelming amount? Any atheist (myself included) could argue that there's an overhwlming amount of religious people on here....what fun would it be if there was no diversity? Isn't half of the fun of this site debate? I can google or read a book about anything I don't know the answer to...what's fun is asking opinion based questions and debating our views on them, if you ask me. as a side note...since when did the religious become so intolerant? not a very virtuous characteristic of his godness' teachings I would say.

If it changes its name at all, I think it should be called Nosebag! Not just because of all the people who are constantly feeding on questions and answers, while simultaneously carrying out their daily tasks (like a horse with a nose bag), but also because of the level of inquisitiveness, or nosiness required to comstantly ask and answer questions

I don't know, but I'll tell you why you hear so much out of them and barely anything from Christians..... Atheists are quite insecure in their beliefs, unlike us they do not have the proof of the Bible, therefor all they can do is bully innocent Christians.

Actually I think we are quite a "mixed" bag. And no, unless all of the questions suddenly become religious (despite the overwhelming number as it is) it should stay as answerbag.

It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness. There are many atheists that choose to be that way so that they will have no higher power to answer to than themselves, allowing them to do pretty much whatever they want. This is willful and deliberate. This is not poised to be insultive rather matter of fact. The more God is squeezed out of today's reality the more the comfort zone is increased.

wow , how hurtful to see people have nothing better to do than make odd comments about what others believe in. If we were all alike it would be boring and we should try to show respect and not put down someone because they are different. I will no doubt get harassed for this answer, but see it does not bug me, I am not here for popularity or for fame. I have been on here for only a few weeks and have enjoyed most of the questions that are truly for good debate or curiosity, but some of the things on here are truly just weird and make no sense. Why worry about what this website changes the name to, long as it is still here for your entertainment or whatever purpose it gives to you, then that is all that should matter. I am not trying to piss anyone off or make anyone feel bad, I would only enjoy this site if there were less cut downs and I did mention it in one of my question/statements and more showing of true debates or true concerns. Disrespect of others is I am sure not the intent of why this website was created. Thanks and if you want to make odd comment, that is your perogative no harm done.

No, because their is just as many non-atheist as their are atheist. It is a community where people can speak veiws and think about it before answering the question as well as interact with someone who may think diffrently on a reasonalble level

Out of curiosity, just how did you reach that particular conclusion? Ina naswer to your question, yes, there do seem to be mant atheists on the site. If only there were some way of delineating that, such as a separate category for atheist questions...
